There are several posts on digitalpoint where all the fuss began.  One of the highly respected members of digitalpoint, Bryce, had these wise words to share:

This pimple faced geek needs to get banned from any hosting company that would have him because it can cause a serious backlash against them. I don’t gve a rip about apologies because he should have never done it in the first place.

Bryce runs a credit repair site. heh.

So far, the highly respect digitalpoint member Bryce has called Bompa a SOB, a freak, a geek, a teenage punk, a pimple faced geek, a wonker, and a dork.

Nice going Bryce.  That’ll fix him.

Another brillant detective at code4gold.com, ronfrank, posted this comment: “WTF ??? Look some crazy hacker kid has spammed into my site’s logfiles”

And then, on that same distinguished forum, ~Dave~ who runs a tatoo site, has this to say:  “the punk hit my sites also so I whipped up a little blog article about it and already am at the #3 spot in Google for Blackhatbootcamp.com“.

Weeeeeee, #3 for a someone else’s domain name!

Apparently, a few hundred lines in their raw server log is a big deal to these boys.

Don’t they know that bots do that type of thing every day of week?

Ah well, they will smell the coffee someday.
